Visiting Sailors to the Club

Once cleared by the relevant officials and your intentions are to use the RSYC’s facilities, you are required to register with the club (see administration Office) and a temporary membership will be issued.

There are minimal charges for usage of the club facilities which may include water, showers, dinghy dock, main dock, fuel bowser, bar, lounge area and administration which is all part of registration.

At this time the “Royal Suva Yacht Club” welcomes you and hope that your stay with us will be a happy a memorable one.

New Procedures for Customs Clearance

There is a new procedure put in place by the Fiji Customs Authority for all visiting mariners.

Upon arrival and you have done the necessary clearance with Customs in any port other then Suva and your intention is to visit Suva, you are required to clear again with Customs on arrival into the Port of Suva.

Cruising Permit

If your intention is to cruise Fiji waters you are required to obtain a “Cruising Permit” from the Fijian Affairs Board which is located in the “Civic Towers” building in Suva.  They will also advise on the necessary protocols to be met when visiting villages either then resorts/hotels etc.
