Club Facilities

There are several club facilities available for your convenience and they are the Bar, Lounge, Boatshed, Kidanet Internet Services, Bure and Lawn and Parking areas.

bar11Bar Facilities

The Club’s Bar Complex is exclusively for members and their guests, registered guests to the club and reciprocal members who are 18 years of age and over. This is a designated non smoking area and have a verandah attached for smokers.
The bar also offers snacks, which could also be purchased from the restaurant, light music and Television inclusive of Sky T.V.

Lounge

This area offers a more relaxed atmosphere away from the bar and provides Television inclusive of Sky T.V. and DVD Deck for movie lovers as well as sports enthusiasts.  Designated as a non smoking area.

Wireless Internet

The club offers wireless internet.  Please see administration office or the main bar for the purchase of Kidanet access cards. FJD 10 for 90 minutes. The range may cover offshore moorings.

Bure/Protest Bar

This facility is set outside on the lawn and provides a quiet shaded area enjoying the scenery of the Club.  A barbeque set is available for use in this area for a fee with it’s own private bar.  This facility is also available for hire for private functions.  Designated smoking area.

Lawn

This is set in a lush green lawn with outdoor furniture where you can relax and enjoy the sunshine, sunset or cool tropical evening outside of the bar and lounge areas.  This environment is also suited for a large number of people who wish to socialise casually.  Designated smoking area.

Dress Code

During the day sensible casuals are permitted and from 1800 hours onwards smart casuals (dress shoes, sandals, collard t-shirts and shirts).  

The wearing of hats by males in the bar area is forbidden.  Penalty for doing so is to buy a round of drinks for every patron in the bar at the time.

Parking

There are ample parking facilities in the car park with designated areas for members and visitors.  Our friendly security personnel will direct you accordingly.

Boatshed/ Marine Centre

This complex provides showers and toilets for members and yachtsmen/yachtswomen as well as washtubs.  This also facilitates the Yacht Shop, Mercury Shop and Dive Center.

Loading and Fuelling Dock

This is located in front of the Total Bowser and accommodates fuelling for all registered and visiting sailing vessels to the club, loading and off loading of registered private sailing vessels only.  After fuelling, loading and unloading you are asked to move your boat within a reasonable time frame being mindful of other users.  If your intention is to leave your vessel at an extended period of time, please contact the administration office for clarification.

Seagull Restaurant

This is attached to the main clubhouse and is sub leased and managed by Ms Rosie Chute and offers casual or fine dinning at affordable prices.  They also have a selection of bar snacks available on request.
