To promote support and encourage the following:

- The Provision of facilities for the use and benefit of all our members.
- Social and cultural activities.
The club in recent year’s have grown not only in it’s membership but also in the provision of various mooring facilities to cater for the ever increasing registered vessels to the RSYC. This has made us seriously look into looking at ways of facilitating the numbers in membership and not being able to provide mooring spaces for all interested registered vessels.
The Committee is currently looking into the viability of expanding the Club keeping in mind its rich historical architecture. We have enlisted the help of Mr. Jerry Standan, an accomplished architect from England, to draw up a draught with visions of what the club should look like with the intention of expanding to a second floor.
All financial prospective transactions/loans and commitments will be tabled at the 2007 AGM.
Moorings
This has been an on going project of the club in trying to achieve and increase the much needed mooring spaces for members who own vessels registered to the club who wish to have moored at the club.
As this can be an expensive project, we have been able to, through the help of members, move and improve this area, but unfortunately not as fast as we would have liked to.
